When our beloved messenger (saw) was given permission by Allah (swa) to migrate to Madinah, he (saw) and Abu Bakr (ra), his companion stayed in the cave on mount Thawr for three nights. During these nights, Abu Bakr’s son Abdullah would stay nearby and return early morning, before the Quraish woke up. He would update the prophet (saw) and Abu Bakr (ra) on the activities of the Quraish. Abu Bakr’s (slave), Amir bin Fuhayrah (ra), would graze Abu Bakr’s goats nearby, so both men had milk to drink. The Quraish search for the two men, but Allah protected them and they remained unseen.
