Makkah is one of the most sacred cities in the world. It is where the ka’bah, the house of Allah is situated.  Muslims have to make pilgrimidge to Makkah atleast once in their lifetime, as hajj is one of the five pillers of Islaam, and thus travel from all over the world to this sacred land.  Because of its sacredness, it is unique such that non-Muslims are prohibited from entering this city.
